Ilang taon na ba ako? Actually hindi ako sure kung ilan na nga...pero 1977 ako. So? Kayo na lang po bahala mag compute kung ilan taon na nga ako.hehehehe
Looking back yan po ang reason why i'm writting this blog...saan ba ako nag simula? What I've learned & gained from my past working experience

SUMMER JOB - at writing that was 20 years ago. My Godfather who happens to be the swimming coach of Colegio San Agustin gave me an opportunity to assist him sa summer swimming class nya. Well very basic lang naman ang ginawa ko, that is to check the attendance and join the swimmers sa pool. hehehehe soooo enjoying the waters na din and earning at the same time. Swimming is one lesson that you need to pass sa PE, i must admit na hindi ako marunong talaga but i  learned how to really swim the right way when i worked with my Ninong ( Godfather in tagalog ). And he encouraged me, sabi nya binata na din sya when he learned how to swim. I did freestyle, backstroke, breast stroke , tried butterfly too, pero honestly di kaya ang butterfly! Mahirap and ayoko na din syang pagaralan at gawin...hehehehe ok na yan at least kaya ko yung freestyle. Hapi na ako dun.

CREW - was interviewed in the Mayor's Office and thought that i will be joining a famous fastfood chain only to find out that it's a popcorn & balloon cart business of the son of then Mayor of Muntilupa. 17 years old naman ako nun when i worked with him and this was in Ayala Town Center.

JOLLIBEE SMART ASSISTANT - and this is what i call real work, with payslip, with training, with sss. I remembered it was Sir Tony who interviewed me one of his question was do you like kids? actually NO! Pero for the sake of the interview i said yes! hehehehe sorry i lied that was before. Na explain ko lang sa kanila na we are handling children sa teatro namin kung saan i am the vice president. So that was it, i was hired @ 18 years of age on October 1995 i started working with Jollibee Ayala Alabang. Helped with store decoration, take orders, answers phone calls for delivery, telemarketing, checks competitor's promos, helps in implementation of promotions, make booking for mascots, balloons & cakes and of course this is where i developed my hosting skills. Learned more on the marketing side, dream ko talaga ma assign sa kitchen pero dun ako napunta eh. FUN naman and i don't regret it. Tapos ang bait2 pa ng Manager namin. I will never forget her, Mam Sheng Hernandez kase i learned a lot from her. i finished my contract here and volunteered to extend for 1& half month pa, then Mam Sheng referred me sa Jollibee Alabang Junction.

JOLLIBEE SMART ASSISTANT - May 1996 i joined Jollibee Alabang Junction. Became a regular and learned more. Mabait din ang Head ko sa Junction and she became a real friend to me... Mam Michelle Jane Nuevo, I'm greatful that i was handled by you. Thank you for being a friend, thank you for trusting me, for believing my abilities, thank you for listening, thank you for being there for me... ALWAYS. Well here satisfied naman ako kase tried all the stations pero as a Smart Assistant talaga ang designation ko, which means more on dining work & hosting. Siguro naman most of the Managers that time will agree na i did it very well sa larangan ng hosting. Kung sa radio ay may MRS most requested song dun naman i was the most requested host. Sa mga bookings ko nga ako mismo naririrnig ko, gusto ko ikaw ang mag host ha, sabi kase ng mga kaibigan ko yung Mitch daw ang magaling mag host. ( hehehehe ) Meron nga din mga balikbayan ako din ni rerequest nila kase ni refer daw ako. Usually kase madaming mga balikbayan ang nauwi lang para magparty ang kiddo nila sa Jollibee. Wala pa yan, pag sa tingin din nila barbaric ang bisita AKO din pinapasabak nitong ni Mam Michelle at ni Rara. Madaming memories sa Junction. I'm proud i was once a part of Jollibee Alabang Junction.

KENNY ROGERS ROASTERS HOSTESS - 1998 i was one of the pioneer of KR Festival Mall Alabang. as usual sa labas na naman ako kahit gustong gusto ko sa loob sa kitchen lagi na lang ako na aassign sa labas. Same work pero wala nga lang parties dun. Love it pag naka WAIT TO BE SEATED na kami, kase mga naka headset or radyo kami...hehehehe here i run for regularization din kaso my attendance was questioned. Pero they appealed my case kaso i declined na din.. why do i have to submit again copies of my Medical Certificates its a negligent on the HR's part. Why they are not keeping those papers that we submit. I can furnish copies of those YES pero sabi ko, hindi na ok na yun at least i know that they recognized my capabilities. Hindi ka naman maging candidate for regularization if di ka deserving diba.

BINGO BONANZA - 1999 i passed the exam, interview & audition as bingo announcer. I was first assigned sa Baclaran Bingo Zone. love a ng players dun kase one time nalipat ako sa Bacoor to train ng link napuno ang suggestion box ng Baclaran pinapapabalik ako and sinasabi din ng players yun na ibalik daw si Mitch. i love the players dun. maingay pero mga totoo. When Cluster 3 link was launch nakilala ako dun bilang pinagamagandang host ng Baclaran. Magtatawanan kami sa link on air kase sasabihin ng Isetan.. Mitch ikaw lang naman kase ang babaeng host sa area natin. hehehe nice to remember those days... well, stayed there for a few months until i became a regular, got married and became pregnant.

My pregnancy gave way to my transfer to Festival Alabang, kung saan very generous magbigay ang mga players. AS IN. Gained a lot of friends here sa work at sa mga players. Special mention ko dito si Olive Rowena Liwanag who knows a lot sa mga problema ko. Actually sya ang Matron of Honor namin nung kinasal ako. Laarni Villaresis my friend na lawyer ang dating sa dami ng alam nya sa mga law law at legal legal na yan. Actually partner ko sya nung magplan kami mag tayo ng Union. Hehehehe Nandyan din si Baby Gy Mary Grace Payumo na naging ka nonstop textmate ko even on stage, si Norman SJ ang buraot kong kumpare, si Mam Analee Calape sobrang bait kong Command Officer, syempre nandyan din ang kwelang si Tina Moyo plus ang kumpare kong di pa nakikita ng inaanak nya na si Cris Bautista! Cris, thank you for the fun times. Promise i enjoyed working with you guys. And i miss your company.  Sa bingo na ako nagtagal. from Baclaran, to Festival, to Bacoor, to Southmall then to Kuwait.

SPA & MORE - arrived kuwait on 2006 via Qatar Airways, October 26 ako dumating then started to work ng November 1 as a receptionist. Sa Platinum Kaifan kami naka assign. Wala masyadong work, pa internet internet lang, pa kape2, pa picture2 at pa mcdo2 lang kaya tumaba ako noon.  The first friends i earned when i first worked abroad ay walang iba kundi ang mga partner ko sa reception na sina Jenny Aguilar & Elmer Marinay. Miss working with you guys. And thank God kahit magkakahiwalay na tayo we still find to communicate paminsan minsan. We will always have that connection kase ninang ninong din sila ng baby ko.

MISS OPRAH SALON - 2008 from Spa & More moved to Oprah due to baladiya checking daw. hindi daw ako pwede sa Spa kase for men lang daw yun. receptionist pa din pero mas madami naman gawa ko dito susuko ang walang tyaga! hahahaha pero thank God, there's a reason for everything and i can say that here i learned humility. Sobrang nag adjust ako d2 kase ang daming nawala sa akin, transport, accomodation, tips, bumababa din sahod ko, humaba ang oras ko etc.. but this gave way for me to be closer to God, got deeper with my relationship with God became the light there. Most of them couldnt believe na may Pilipino daw palang kagaya ko....i dont want to elaborate on this... basta i made a difference thereby proving that not all Filipinos are like the ones that they know. And one funny story din that i want to share is - di sila makapaniwala na totoo ang ngipin ko hehehe kase lahat daw ng kilala nilang Pilipino eh pustiso ngipin. hahahahaha ... Kung meron akong mga treasured friend sa mga dati kong work of course dito meron din and her name is Chandrika Rohini a sri lankan hairstylist.

KANEE - on 2011 i landed job  in Kanee a contractor of KGOC as a technical assistant. My fist time to work full time sa office. Kind of work that never entered my mind. Nung nalipat nga ko noon sa Main Office ng Bingo naloka lokaers ako. Hindi ko line ang office. But look at how God works in our lives, talaga namang 360% change ang gagawin nya pag Siya ang kumilos. Easy work lang naman for me filing2 lang. hehehehe pero gets a lot experience here by replacing some staffs who goes on vacation. So far i have knowledge in the travel side & secretarial job, plus i am at times helping in the insurance side. Thank God for Madam Hadeel Taqi who became the instrument so i can enter this job. God bless her for becoming a blessing to our family. Having this job, gave me more time serving the Lord and more time with my family. I hope to stay here for long until we decide to go home for good.

so.. these are all my working experience.... BOW!
